I just found out that James Scott Lewis died. I am heartbroken. I knew him from when he was going through OCS at Camp Smith through his completion of his PA degree and employment as a Physician's Assistant. I looked forward to seeing him during his monthly drills at Camp Smith for years, hearing stories of his adventures and updates on his family and friends. He was brilliant and his zest for life was contagious. I can't believe he's gone.
Scott was a person with great integrity, dedication and sense of humor. He fought courageously his whole life, and even more through his battle with cancer.
