Jean I. E. Ellison, age 83, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 after a sudden illness, with her family at her side. Jean was born in Bedford, England on July 22, 1937 to the late Frank and Violet (Crowsley) Parker.

Jean was raised and educated in Bedford, where she met John Ellison, whom she would later marry in 1959. In 1967, they immigrated with their children to the United States and settled in New York. She and John relocated to Ohio, before moving back to NY later in life.

Upon moving to Ohio, she continued her service as a Founding Member of her new church, St. Anne Episcopal Church in West Chester, OH, until her move back to New York.

Jean was a music lover, proficient on the piano and organ, and managed a music store before marriage. She was also an avid runner, winning several trophies and medals in regional running events. She enjoyed raising her children, caring for her family, as well as cooking, gardening, and healthy living.
