Condolences

Condolence From: Patrick Cooney
Condolence: I am so terribly saddened and stricken with grief to learn of Ping's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Ping when we both worked as valets at the Saratoga Casino. Among the many knuckleheads that worked there Ping stood out because of his cool and calm demeanor and mature attitude. I was immediately taken back by his genuine personality and no nonsense attitude. Ping showed noble character traits, was neat and clean, and forwarded ideas to Casino management encouraging implementation of recycling services at the facility due to the incredible amount of trash and waste which we both lamented. I remember an unfortunate accident when Ping accidentally ran into a iron light pole and suffered a horrible deep cut above his eye. He did not distress and showed no pain! What a strong guy! I felt so bad for him.
Years later I bumped into Ping at Best Buy where he was working with Solar City, we caught up and I invited him back to my apartment where my wife was cooking dinner for an evening with friends. He never made it sadly, but as many have remarked, he had such a golden and honest character about him. So truly saddened to lose such a great and positive person so soon. Forever in our hearts dear friend.

Condolence: I first met Ping when he stopped by our offices at the Chamber. He was a bright light to all who knew him. I wish I had words of comfort. Please know he has a special place in our hearts.

Condolence: I met Ping when his family moved to Clifton Park and he joined my second grade class. He taught us all to count to 10 in Chinese and I haven’t forgotten it to this day. Something about that year and experience left a lasting mark in my memory. We continued to be classmates and acquaintances until our graduation. I will never forget the genuine kindness he showed everyone. Truly a person to be admired. You will be missed, Ping, by more than you knew.

Condolence: I met Ping when he and his father selected a lot from me in the Jonesville Cemetery when his mother passed. Although a sad time, he had a marvelous smile and disposition, which appeared later whenever I saw him in the store or a shopping center. He did not greet me with a quick "Hello" but with a genuine interest in how I was doing. His passing leaves a profound sadness in my life for the joy and radiance he shared with me and others.
