Obituary for Ping Wong
Dateline – Clifton Park, NY
Ping Wong, age 30, sadly and unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Ping was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and later earned his Bachelor’s degree at University at Buffalo, Summa Cum Laude. He was a kind young man with a passion for learning and an unending curiosity for human kind. He enjoyed running and participated in a variety of competitions including marathons, triathlons, iron man, and other obstacle course races. Through these competitions, he helped others and spent time fundraising, as well as raising awareness for charities that were close to his heart. Ping was dedicated to the community and volunteered at the Jonesville Fire Deportment.
He is survived by his father Chi; his brothers, Ching and Chung (Vicky); and many loving friends and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.
Interment will be private in Jonesville Cemetery where he will rest with his mother.
