Burial or Cremation?

One of the major questions which must be addressed

when a death occurs is whether to have a traditional

burial or whether to cremate the remains.

If your family has traditionally chosen burial in previous generations, you may again decide to choose this option, simply because your family own plots together in a local cemetery.

One or more of the family members may not like the idea of cremation for religious and/or personal convictions and choose burial. For more information on our burial services, click here.

Cremation is the accelerated reduction of the remains to ash, traditionally through the process of heat and fire. Many times, a funeral service is common before cremation.  If you’re considering cremation, we suggest you take the time to learn more here.

There are many options for what to do with the ashes of the deceased after cremation.  Let us know your thoughts about how you would like to handle your loved one's cremated remains.  For example, they can be scattered, buried, placed in a mausoleum, buried at sea or made into jewelry. The possibilities are extensive.

We encourage all families to consider whichever option suits them best at the time of need. Should you have any questions, feel free to call or email us. We will be pleased to share our knowledge and expertise with you.
